5 out of 5 stars This Travel Alarm is a Dream!   August 30, 2010
Paula Martin (Adelphi, MD)
I really like this travel alarm clock and have no complaints about it. Being able to change the alarm time so easily is a big plus. With prior travel alarms, I had to go around the entire clock cycle just to alter the alarm setting by an hour one way or the other. With this clock, changing the time is very simple. Before I purchased this clock, I read other reviews about it mentioning that the clock only opens up to a 90-degree angle. Now that I have one, I see the point in that comment, but I don't find it much of a problem, and the other benefits of the clock certainly outweigh this minor issue (wouldn't even call it a problem). It's slim, folds up nicely for packing, and has a 5-minute snooze interval. I highly recommend this clock.

1 out of 5 stars Pro and Cons   August 22, 2010
S. Block (Ft. Lauderdale, FL USA)
I bought this clock to replace my beloved Westclox travel alarm that was a clam shaped little clock that was faithful to me for some 15 years.

I'm online right now because of this clock. Can't continue to use it because it drives me nuts. Time to replace it.

Pro: It shows time, day of the week, and date of the month.

Con: If you look at it too hard, it tips over backwards. If you touch it, it tips over backwards. Most of the time, I just keep it closed. The snooze alarm only gives you four extra minutes. Ultimate betrayal - once in a while, even though the alarm is set properly, it just decides not to sound its alarm. That's when I want to smash it!

5 out of 5 stars Alarm clock   June 29, 2010

I gave this to my husband for Father's Day since his old Scientific Oregon alarm clock was falling apart. He says it's great. I guess my only complaint would be the batteries it uses - I would prefer that it used AA or AAA bateries.

5 out of 5 stars Great little clock   May 30, 2010
Chares Flammer (Boston, MA)
This is a great little clock, whether for travel or home. What I was looking for and is surprisingly hard to find is a clock that would allow me to set the time or alarm forwards or backwards easily (like the old analog clocks). It's annoying with most digital clocks where if you want the alarm to go off 10 minutes earlier, you have to advance the time 50 seconds which takes forever. Setting the time and alarm is fast and easy. I bought 3 different clocks with this feature, and this is my favorite by far. I've been using it for 6 months. I also like the appearance, and how it folds up for travel. It has a nice display and a big snooze button. I'm thinking of buying another to replace it because it's been so hard to find one like this.

1 out of 5 stars Bogus Clock   January 21, 2010

Bogus clock. it's awkward, and hard to read the display unless the back light is on, which by the way only stays on for a second or two
