This product is NOT "Wood"; it is 100% plastic! Yes, it is advertised as "Wood":

IF it were advertised as accented wood plastic... then there would be no argument.

I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and will receive a full refund plus shipping, but not returning the item, as the details of the product is blatantly false. The product has a classic tone, but lacks the uniqueness and durability "Wood" provides. I can say this... it does look ok, however, while I was hanging the product it slipped out of my hands because of how smooth plastic is and the corner of it chipped displaying a white plastic blemish where the plastic fake coating pealed off.... IF this were "WOOD" as it is advertised and well constructed, a fall, even from 10', would most likely not cause any damage besides a few scrapes or dent on the corner and easily repaired. However, you can not repair a blemish on this frame! "WOOD" is authentic... this is NOT!
Obviously not worth $15 USD plus shipping... the plastic materials alone cost $2-4 USD.
I do not see how this product had received so many positive feedbacks... do people really believe plastic to be "WOOD" today?!
Besides, the frame... the shipping from Amazon.com... upon opening the box the frame was shipped in, I had noticed double cushion air packaging. I removed the first layer, thinking the frame would be below that, nope... removed the second layer and the frame was resting at the very bottom of the box where there was no protection at all. Silly.....

You know those stickers that don't peel off easily? The ones that you pull a little but just rip right away and leave tons of residue? Well there is a big one right on the glass, taking up about a quarter of the glass. The actual frame is nice and fine, but if I had known that I would have had to spend an hour+ scraping off this sticker only to have it all smudged I would have chosen a different frame altogether.
What kind of company puts a sticker like this right on the glass?! Seriously.

This is not a bad frame for a certificate and definitely better than spending a lot more money buying a similar one at the university bookstore. But for a hard earned university diploma, there are much nicer options out there like this one from Old School Diploma Frame Co. UT AUSTIN Diploma Frame with Artwork in Classic Walnut Frame that actually shows the school colors. The seller of that product also has similar frames from many other schools at the company's website.

I want to recommend this frame to you, I have it and love it, For the price I paid for it, well worth it. My only suggestion is that the manufacture stop sticking the label on the glass, as it was a tad bit difficult to remove. Other than that, I have only good things to say. My teaching colleagues loved it and ordered them to hold their Master's Degree too. You would not be sorry you ordered this diploma frame, it is beautiful on the wall in my classroom.
