Super cute! My son loves it. I just wish it played music longer than it does.

Multiple issues which I will sum up. #1 the music only plays for around two minutes then needs to be wound up again. #2 The mobile stopped spinning after only a month. #3 the characters like to get stopped up on the post cover which is probably what broke the spin motion. My son loves it till he sees me come back in and then he wants to be picked up or if that doesn't happen, I'll walk away for a second and he will start screaming because its not moving. I'm going to give up on it and just cut off the characters to give to him as toys later.

I'm surprised that people have rated this mobile so high - I guess people aren't that picky.
The only good thing about this mobile is that it matches the rest of the Jungle Tales set.
As for the bad things
- It doesn't play nearly long enough
- Winding it is very LOUD
- The music is very LOUD
- The music sounds like a cheap music box
- Did I mention it doesn't play long enough?
In my world the purpose of the mobile is to entertain the child as well as sooth it to sleep with the music. Well with this one you wind it up and hope that the LOUD winding doesn't startle the baby.
Then you let it play and it's a LOUD and cheap sound.
And as I said it only plays for a minute or 2. I don't know about your baby but my baby isn't going to be soothed to sleep by something so short.
Why it has an on and off switch I have no idea.
We'll be buying a new mobile.
Thanks for reading. I would look else where unless you just want to have the matching mobile and aren't worried about the music part.

My baby nephew loves the monkey. The music is sweet and he smiles and jiggles a lot when the mobile is in motion. You do have to hand-wind it often, but there is an on/off switch. He got it at 4 weeks, is now almost 4 months old, and he still likes it. He especially stares at the monkey (probably because it's so dark against the white ceiling).

This mobile is great! Looks great, sounds great and works perfectly! We bought this because we have the matching bedding and are very happy with it! Highly recommend.
