There it was first recorded by Spanish Missionaries as it was used by Mexican Indians, using Damiana leaves mixed with sugar as a powerful tea that enhanced lovemaking and worked as a powerful aphrodisiac. It is also named in Mexican folklore as the ingredient that flavored the original margarita; an alcoholic drink now famous throughout the world. Not only was the product very "stinky" :) but the seller shipped the item the same day that I ordered it (not saying that this will be the case for everyone else.) I ordered the item on tuesday at 3 in the morning, I woke up, and had an email saying it was shipped, its not thursday and I got the item this morning.
There are some seeds in it, (not sure if they're plantable [if thats a word?]) but for 20 dollars and the potency of the product, I'm very very content, and may try to cultivate those seeds myself :D
kudos to the seller for prompt shipping and great product!
Oh, the Damiana was in a ziplock bag and in the mail bag, and i opened the mailbox, and phew.... stinky.

I was a little worried, in the email it said i'd receieve it in two weeks, it came in two days! I was also impressed at how potent and effective it was! Made my mailbox stinky!

Product is delivered in a sealed bag and is very fresh Damiana. I found no CON's to mention.
Delivery was very prompt. If you like Damiana as a smoking herb or incense I think you will be very pleased and satisfied with this product. It has a very calming effect on me when smoked. I first wet then dry mine in the hot sun for a few hours to get any Chlorophyll out of the leaf. This makes for a very sweet and satisfying smoking herb. For incense I wet it and mold it into a tent shape and let it dry in the sun. It burns nice and even and the aroma is great, especially if you have pets in the house.
