Good Clock....but it ticks. August 30, 2010 Marc Leahy (Seattle, WA) Good construction. Worst thing about this clock is the sound of the second hand ticking. It is not loud, but I am not used to the sound, and therefore, it's annoying. Otherwise, this clock is great. I may try to position this clock a few more feet away from my head to see if I would still hear the sound.

I had been looking for a replacement for a small battery operated alarm clock. My favorite broke after many years service. This Casio is the best. Just the right size and sound.
You snooze, you lose July 20, 2010 Tres Murcielagos (Boston, MA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a lovely little alarm clock. It's quiet, easy to read, and works in a very straightforward manner. You can set the time and alarm time with little knobs on the back, and it runs on a single "AA" battery. What could be simpler?
My only complaint?
No snooze button. Once you turn off the alarm, it's off. If you fall asleep again, well, that's your problem.
If you are the kind of person who gets up when the alarm rings, this clock will be perfect for you.
If you tend to snooze, doze, or oversleep, well, be warned.

I purchased this for my elderly mother, to remind her to take her afternoon pills. This clock sits on the table by her in the living room with the alarm set to remind her. Smaller than I thought based on previous similar alarm clocks I've had but it is very easy to read and the smaller size leaves more room on the side table.

Worst thing about this clock is that you can't see it in the dark...even with the glow in the dark hands. Completely useless.
