 Perfect for the therapy practitioner office waiting room July 2, 2010

If you're a marriage and family therapist or something a similar field, this is the perfect tool to place in the waiting room to help insure confidentially in your office, especially if there is several practitioners sharing 2 or more offices. Plus it has a pleasant soft wind sound that's not disrupted for those in the waiting area.

My husband and I first used a white noise machine furnished by a hotel which was located on a busy street in a city. It was so helpful that we purchased the Marpac 980A for our guest room. Our guests love it! They can follow their own schedule - go to bed and sleep when we stay up late watching TV or sleep in undisturbed when my husband gets up early for work. It is easy to use and has more than one sound level.

I use this for my 3 year old for 'white noise'. He sleeps better - not interrupted by the usual household noises, and I do as well! I may purchase another one for my own room. . .

I bought this sound machine for my daughter two years ago. It's a great sound machine that allows you to adjust the air speed (high or low) as well as the sound pitch. We liked it so much that we just bought a second one for our son's room. It's a good value for the price point. The only thing I would want to change about it is to have it take up less space.
