Decent portable alarm clock March 5, 2010 Paul Ferwerda I was looking for an inexpensive portable alarm clock. I've had this one about a month and like it so far.
Pros:
- alarm is loud enough
- back light is bright enough
- has protective cover for digits when traveling
- non-bulky with folding stand
- can check alarm set time by pushing button
Cons:
- hard to see the numbers except if you're looking down at an angle at the face of the clock
- to set minutes you have to cycle all the way through...not a big deal
- a little tricky to slide the switch between setting the alarm and arming it and turning it off (I'm worried I'll slide it to the wrong setting)
small & does the job March 5, 2010 seattlejanie (Seattle, WA) This is a great little clock, weighs almost nothing & takes up very little space. The stand on the bottom can fold over to protect the buttons & keep from draining the battery while it is packed. I love the bright blue face, but you won't see it unless you hit the oval button on the front. It stays lit up for 1 second, that's it! I wish the light up feature lasted 5 or 10 seconds instead. Snooze button will give you 4 minutes, that's it. Almost not worth hitting the snooze button for. But it works & the price is right.
Does what it's meant to do February 20, 2010 B. Whitworth Got this alarm clock in the summer because I had a hard time waking up early in the morning and little money to spend. It's easy to setup, it's durable (I've thrown it a few times), and the alarm is loud and annoying, which is a good thing. It's waken up every day since I bought it, definitely happy with this clock.
I recommend this product for anyone wanting a nice quality alarm clock for under $10.
Elgin Travel Clock February 6, 2010 Orlo C. Olssen This is exactly what I was looking for in a travel clock. Easy to use and with the tap of the snooze button the time lights up just long enough to get the time. The alarm is efficient. Light weight and easy to pack.
A Fine Travel Alarm January 25, 2010 Wolfgang F. Bauer I wanted a simple travel alarm that would be SURE to wake me up and is reasonably priced. This is EXACTLY what I wanted! I odered two. I especially like the cover; it covers the control buttons but leaves the display visible. The slider switch is a bit flimsy, but it works just fine. The 4 minute snooze is not adjustable, but it is good for traveling - you really do need to get up when the alarm goes off.
