different shape August 4, 2010 grandma This is great but I'm still waiting for someone to come out with the prizm the shape of a rainbow, (A arched 1/2 circle) I've seen one years ago and I'm still looking. When you see this arched 1/2 circle on the walls and seiling, it really looks like a rainbow. Can you come up with an item like that?

I like the Kikkerland line of products. They are all eye candy. This rainbow maker sticks to a window facing West, and makes wonderful spots of color throughout the room. Mine is totally silent, and I want more for every west facing window in the place.
My New Toy June 1, 2010 K. Kenigsberg MD (glen cove, ny) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
MY NEW TOY
It catches the sun on a small flat plate
And drains a dribble of fusion power
Now converted to a flow of ions
Through a nest of copper twigs loop-a-looped
Around a tiny pivoted armature
Within a lode-stone's immutable force field.
Cascading from the electron-powered .muscle,
A stone-fall of gears cheek-by-jowl
In layers arranged inner and outer,
Birthing a slowly spinning rod
That terminates in a gymnast's trapeze.
Aswing there in somnolent ease is
Swarovski's elegant Bohemian gem.
Each turn captures rays from its distant turbine
And splits them into silent, moving rainbows.
The wonder of it all leaves me breathless;
The sun's station one hundred million miles away
And yet it turns a wheel tirelessly on my pane
Floating birds with gorgeous raiment on my walls.

very neat pretty sun toy; have had one for several years; still works as at first.
Unlike a fixed prism; it catches the sunlight all day from many angles; always in motion.

Clever idea, not always good quality April 27, 2010 Mil Nicholson (Balsam Grove, North Carolina) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have about 20 of these solar powered gadgets. Most of them work well. Some better than others. About 4 of them worked for about a month, then inexplicably stopped. I opened one up and found a loose wire. Another I opened and could find nothing wrong. There is a tiny circuit board inside which I think is the culprit. Like I say, I have 20, and will probably get more, but I have little choice, as it's the only thing like it on the market.
